I've installed Ubuntu on a second drive, sdb, and Windows 7 is installed on sda. I put GRUB on sdb, which BIOS boots to.
Problem is, there is no Windows 7 entry in GRUB. Running sudo update-grub gives me this:
Code:
Generating grub.cfg ...
Found linux image: /boot/vmlinuz-3.8.0-19-generic
Found initrd image: /boot/initrd.img-3.8.0-19-generic
done
I tried running Boot Repair, which placed GRUB on all disks, which is not what I wanted. I used it to repair the MBR on sda, and place it on sdb like I wanted. But there is still no Windows entry.
Here's the most recent pastebin from Boot Repair: http://paste.ubuntu.com/5667946/
My PC has UEFI, which I didn't realize it had when I installed Ubuntu. I've since disabled it, and Ubuntu runs fine. I can access my Windows partitions from Ubuntu and they seem fine, as well.
Is there any way to generate a Windows entry without having to do so manually?
