I have found several posts related to this issue, and I thought I had a solution, until I read several closed threads related to 12.04 and 12.10. It appears an a52 plug in has to be created in order for everything to work. My main question is, is this resolved in 13.04 or the latest update to 12.10? If so, instead of creating the a52 plug in, I will simply update my version. However, if not, why was it never addressed? This has been a very time consuming frustrating issue that should be an easy task for a high level programmer to solve. Even more frustrating is the fact that it has not been resolved in later versions. Is home theater use not a priority in updates? Any clarity on this subject would be appreciated. Thanks.
