Won't change resolution

I just clean install Lubuntu 13.04 to my system

Q9550
8gb DDR3
Asus P5E3 Deluxe WiFi
MSI GTX480
Dell Trinitron P992

When i try to change resolution and hit apply or even save for that matter, the menu/windows closes/dissapears and nothing happens even when i reboot.

If you can, try a different video driver package.

Thanks to you I figured it out!!!!

I was aobut to select a different driver, when i noticed the Nvidia logo under "systems tools"... long story short you change the resolution under/in "Nvidia X server Settings"
