Ubuntu 13.04 won't boot and error is presented (cups reloading)

    Hi all,
This is my first time asking, so hopefully I'll be informative enough.

I've been using Ubuntu 12.04 LTS for the past months and now upgraded to 13.04 (right after upgrading to 12.10 as said in the manual).
While booting into 13.04 the first time I got this message:
    Code:
    * starting reload cups upon starting avahi daemon to make sure remote queues are populated [fail]
    And the machine got stuck.
Then I tried to reboot and now my PC just showing for 2 seconds the purple "Ubuntu 13.04" screen and immediately shows a black screen with a blinking short underline in the top left corner.

Searched for this problem for a hour or so, but to be honest I have no idea how to fix this.
Can you please give specific orders how to fix it?
