Blank screen during installation

Hello.
I wanted to install Ubuntu 13.04 x64. I've burned cd, booted it. Then screen with options appears. I chhose "Install Ubuntu" (when I try other options the same things happen). Now I see only blank screen - nothing happens.
I tried also with usb installation (pendrivelinux) and other version (12.04) - the same problem.
My notebook is Asus k55vj with preinstalled win8.

It may be the x display problem. Try boot your ubuntu cd with "xforevesa" boot option.

Yes - I tried to choose "Try LiveCD" - the same thing happens.

@cibalo: how can I boot with this option?

Ok. I know now how to boot with other options, but booting with "xforevesa" option doesn't work.

If you are running either Nvidia or ATI graphics cards, try the boot option "nomodeset". See this tutorial for complete details on setting boot options:

Please advise us if this is a success in the live "try ubuntu" environment. Additional advise will be forthcoming to get you up on the install and provide the means of installing a "proper" driver in that real install.
