    best password manager for ubuntu

    Hi folks

    * same ubuntu noob, looking for a good password manager.
    * NO web options needed. just plain and simple enter a master password, create entries within that file / safe / whatever , store on HDD / usb etc
    * should have an USB option, i.e. install on USB and run from USB

    TIA
    regards

You could take a look at KeePass, available in the software center..
Been using it for many years (been using Ubuntu for a few months though, it is also available for MS Windows.)
Never felt the need for anything else.

Figaro's Password Manager 2 (FPM2) works for me. It's in the repos.
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install fpm2
