    Control Smartphone Through Bluetooth Connection

I have a Ford with the Microsoft Sync system and the greatest feature is that I can associate my Android Smartphone with my car and give it voice commands to do stuff like make phone calls. Is there a way to do this with Ubuntu. I would love to have my phone sync with my server when I walk into my house, and then be able to do stuff like launch apps, make calls, etc. with voice controls.
