How to run Chromium from a download (downloaded from http://download-chromium.appspot

I don't know how to run chromium from a file I downloaded from http://download-chromium.appspot.com, when downloaded I extracted the file and I got a file called "chrome-linux", I don't know which file you open in order to get Chromium up-and-running.

If you want to use Chromium, why not just install it from Software Centre? You will automatically get updates if you do so.

If you are using an ubuntu release, you can find chromium-browser in software center or with synaptic manager and install it in the proper way.

Note that the web you are trying to download say that it is a bleeding edge build of chromium and can be tremendously buggy.

I've been using Google Chrome canary on Windows for a long-time now and I've not found it to be buggy at all, if I didn't want the latest version of Chromium perhaps but I want the bleeding-edge Chromium.

Run "file" on the file and paste the output here.
