USB not working in Ubuntu 12.04.2

I just did a clean install of Ubuntu 12.04.2 and it works fine when in liveUSB but after I install it to my ssd drive and reboot, my keyboard, mouse and wifi adapter don't work and I'm stuck on the login screen. It works fine with Linux Mint 14 so I guess it has something to do with a newer kernel. Also, it works with 12.10 but not 13.04 beta. My motherboard is Msi 870a-g54. Tell me what info you might need and I will deliver it.
    Thanks.

Re: USB not working in Ubuntu 12.04.2

I installed 12.10 and updated to 3.5.0-27-generic (had some display problems where the screen just flickered but after installing latest fglrx it was fixed) and everything works fine, so I guess it's something else than the kernel in 12.04.2 that is causing this.
