Today's OpenGL driver update and Bumblebee

I have Intel/Nvidia optimus and use Bumblebee with fairly good success, thanks to the hard work of the BB devs. But I noticed that today's update to 12.10 offers to install new OpenGL (Mesa) drivers. Are these new drivers better able to deal with Optimus chipsets? Is it wise to skip installing them if one has Optimus?

    Thanks!
You don't understand. I coulda had class. I coulda been a contender. I coulda been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what I am, let's face it.

Whoa! Not too many at once! Looks like nobody cares, so I will play it safe and skip the update.
