Special steps for installing ubuntu 13.04?

    Hi all,

I'm going to install ubuntu 13.04 soon and I was just wondering if there are any special steps I need to follow? I already have ubuntu 12.10 installed on one partition.

    Thanks

You could have just edited your previous post. There's a facility to do so

    IMHO, yes.
13.04 has been very stable from the beginning and I'm not the only one saying this, many users have reported that Raring is the most stable development version of Ubuntu so far. However, this obviously depends on the hardware.

Hey; not really just, the directions on the installation process. I recommend having a wired internet connection for the process though.

edit: wow, it took me 7mins to write this...I so need sleep. And I think 13.04 is worth it. It seems to be more responsive than 12.10 imo.

Thread moved to Ubuntu +1 (Raring Ringtail).

    Is it really worth it?
Why do you want to upgrade to 13.04 early?

No particular steps needed. You do it as is usually done.

Thanks everyone for the helpful comments. I'm probably going to get 13.04 then. Although, does anyone know if there will be problems with my graphics card? I have a Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti.

Indeed. This happened yesterday. 13.04 is still prone to breakage.

At this point I'd hang off installing the proprietary driver.

Is there an alternate driver I can download?
