2 Video Cards, 3 Monitors and Live CD

I have a kind of beastly machine at work which has two video cards and 3 monitors, but the third monitor and I'm assuming 2nd video card are not active when booted from the live CD. Is this something that would be resolved upon installation?

    I couldn't say for sure...

what make are the graphics cards?

I know on my laptop the live CD uses the built in graphics and needs a minor work around to use Nvidia graphics when fully installed. But I only have 1 card..

    your problem may be similar...

seems someone else had similar trouble

    http://askubuntu.com/questions/20213...graphics-cards

and most other posts indicate its difficult to do on Unity...

Perhaps using kubuntu would be a better option?

That would be kind of a bummer. Unity is definitely my environment of choice and I like how Unity works with two monitors after a little tweaking. May still monkey with getting it going on 3, with a Kubuntu install waiting just in case.
