Setting shift to turn off caps lock

Hi Community,

In Keyboard Layout > Layouts > Options > Caps Lock Behaviour there is a long list of possible ways which Caps Lock can behave. But none of them is quite what I'm used to from Windows.

The behaviour I seek is the follow, and it has some fantastic benefits for keeping Caps Lock "allowed" but allowing accidental presses to be easily resolved without looking at the keyboard:

Press Caps Lock > Caps Lock is switched on. Press Shift > Caps Lock is switched off.

Does anyone know how I might go about getting this very useful behaviour?

I believe the option you're looking for is

shift:breaks_caps   Shift cancels Caps Lock

It's among Shift options, not among Caps Lock options.
