is there any way you can get a temporary internet connection on that machine.
I say that because what you propose will work but you'll need to also download and install all the dependency files that go with wine.

I'm going to try and get a temporary internet connection but if I can't could someone walk me through how to burn wine on a CD or DVD.

If you can't get on line go to this page and it will tell you how to set up a offline repository using usb stick or DVD's

Thank you for helping me. I went to the suggested website and I read it 10 times over but I feel really stupid because I still don't understand what to do. If it's not to much to ask could someone tell me step by step how to install wine using a USB stick. I don't have an internet connection. I'm really new at this as you can see.
