    Server/client 32/64 bit

Hi, I am pretty new to Ubuntu and I am thinking about creating a home server but I have both 32 & 64 bit computers I would like to connect to it...

    Can I do this?

I could run the server OS on a 32 or 64 bit PC, but I don't know whether only 32bit can connect to 32bit server etc as I've never played with servers before or if any particular setup would be best.

I am running ubuntu 12.04.02 LTS (one on 32bit, one on 64bit) and was going to use ubuntu 12.04 server maybe?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hello,
The best performance for ubuntu server is on 64bit, but you can use the 32bit PC as well. You don't have to be worried about compatibilities. The only thing you have to do is, to install the proper OS (for 64bit PC 64bit Ubuntu iso and so on)

Here is the link to download: http://www.ubuntu.com/download/server

Thanks for your help! One of the many things I love about linux is the forum community and the help.
