I'm from Canada. My townhouse is more than 30 years old. The gas meter was installed in the backyard mounted on the wall. All homeowners in our townhouse complex has the same thing. I recently conditionally sold my house. The potential buyer did a home inspection, and said that the gas meter is not supported. Does anyone know that gas meter has to be supported by something underneath? Is it a safety issue if the gas meter is mounted on the wall? I'm afraid the buyer wants to pull me down on the purchase price. Any feedback will be appreciated.
