I tried to get Compiz to work, and I looked at a few tutorials, but it does not seem to work.
I can get it installed, but it has no effect. Can someone help me into getting it to work?

Do you have a video card capible of runnig compiz? You may need to install a proprietary video driver to use compiz effects as well.
