    Re: Weak Wireless Signal

I have the same card in my new laptop and I just added that driver parameter and set wireless settings to match the screenshots and it works great.
    Using 12.04.2
If you are not sure the parameter is added correctly remove it and run:
    Code:
    echo "options ath9k nohwcrypt=1" | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/ath9k.conf
    sudo modprobe -rfv ath9k
    sudo modprobe -v ath9k
    if possible.
Also set encryption to just wpa2
    Thanks

    Re: Weak Wireless Signal

This driver problem behind this issues has been identified. When I upgraded from Ubuntu 13.04 or 13.10, the problem was solved.
