OK, well I will try them both out once I learn more about which driver to use with the NVIDIA. The system76 has a bigger screen so it would be nice to use that.

The HD4000 benchmarks higher than a GeForce GT 520MX http://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-H...0.69168.0.html so the Zareason machine should get much higher framerates. If you really want to get into gaming though build yourself a desktop, the performance trade-offs on notebooks aren't worth it.

Thanks Gnobody. Since I haven't played games for a while, I don't think I'll be too picky. Meaning I don't mind choosing from only the (now many) games that can be played on Linux on laptops. I care somewhat (hence this post), but not enough to get a desktop and lug it around when I move so often.
