I have a Gazelle Pro 6, purchased in Feb 2011.
It came with 8GB of ram, I would like to increase to 16?
Where is the ram located and what kind of memory do I need, card type, speed, etc..?
thanks,
Scott

Do you know if the configuration you ordered came with 2 4GB or 4 2GB sticks? This will have a large bearing on the upgradeability.
All right, your free slots should be located under the main panel on the bottom of the machine. You'll want to get 204-Pin SO-DIMM RAM. The specs on it are 4 GB DDR3 1333MHz, and you'll want two of those.
No, because you already have 8 installed. The GazP6 has four RAM slots.
On the spec page for the GAZP6 http://knowledge76.com/index.php/GazP6. It says it supports 16gb. I bought this thing with the understanding I would be able to upgrade the memory to 16gb if I decided I needed it. Are you saying the spec sheet is in error?
Or are you saying the two slots under the panel are empty and I can add 2 4gb cards for a total of 16 installed?

No, I'm saying you don't need to purchase 16 GB.
You have 8 GB currently in 2 4GB sticks. You have a total of four RAM slots in the system. If there are two used, then the other two are free, and you can upgrade to 16 GB by adding two more 4GB sticks.
