Ubuntu 12.04.2 or new version 13.04 ?

I know this question has been asked already a million times,
but is it worthwhile to start a new partition on the hardisk
for Ubuntu 13.04 in April ??
There have been discussions if we should skip the next Ubuntu 13.04
because of mayor amendments for the 2014 edition ?

Not really as the lifespan of 13.04 will be short.

From what I read as of 13o4 we switch to a rolling release. So maybe that will work for you.

I'd make a second partition anyway.
So, go for it, try out raring, if you don't like it, oh well.
At least you'll have an area to load other distros you might like to try out.
Or, at least an area to throw files into if you wanted to do a quick re-install.

Well. I will go for it. Y'know I am
an old man , nowadays nobody wants to stick
to reliable software. So I will join the crowd
and look for UBUNTU 13.04

As an aside, a common occurrence when setting up additional partitions and dual-booting, is the borking up of the bootloader.
