I recently insalled ubuntu 12.04 and all updates.. I was running vista. All of a sudden i cant use wifi. I cannot even get my wireless to turn on.. I have a compaq presario with 802.11bg wireless lan by broadcom.. Please any input..?..

praseodym mabye you can help me.. i have a compaq presario c502us. i recently installed ubuntu 12.04 and all of a sudden i cannot enable my wifi.. no avaliable networks. i cant even turn it on. it is an 8-2.11.bg

Merged yet another onei recently installed ubuntu 12.04 and all the updates along with it. i now cannot enable my wifi.. i cant even get it to turn on.
(besides the first one that just got jailed by another mod in confusion )

Also, do you have a working wired connection on the system to download some small packages?
