5 Cups of Ubuntu
I want to mirror a site on my hd. The application or script must d/l the entire site, including java scripts and gifs - x levels from the specified URL. I don't know of any for nix that can covert the d/l into M$'s .chm and similar formats. Any recommendations?

Hmmm.... I would have thought that wget could do this easily enough, have you tried this?

No I haven't experimented with either app. wget seems like a CLI utility; I wonder which one actually works well with the lasted incarnation of Windows. I'll check'em out...thanks
Ubuntu addict and loving it
You do realize that you won't be able to get any server-side scripts, right? You'll only see the rendered HTML. I build sites in PHP, and what you see on screen is but a tiny portion of the entire codebase.
