I recently reinstalled 12.10 on my laptop, as a kernel downgrade to get my webcam drivers working went horribly wrong. Specifically, USB ports got disabled, video out stopped being recognized, and my network interfaces stopped connecting (recognized, but unable to be enabled).
I have full disk encryption enabled, and after I unlock my disk, an error shows up that /boot could not be mounted. This did not happen before. Can I ignore this or do I need to fix it? I have not noticed any side effects of this yet.

On an unrelated note, is there a reason my 1920x1080 monitor displays at 1366x768 during login, but not at any other time? (Doesn't make sense for it to run at 1080p on the disk unlock prompt, then 768p on the login screen, and 1080p after I login.)
