    Angry Intel atom N450 graphics

    Hello All.

I'm new in this world. Last night i installed Ubuntu 12.10 on my Asus EeePC 1005PX. Everything is brilliant expected video. I have installed 1024 MB ram. and Ubuntu is sharing only 32 Mb. When windows xp is sharing 340 mb and windows 7 is sharing 256. In bios i don't have option to change the value of the shared video memory.
With 32mb everything is lagging and not even i can't watch. If someone have some advices for me how to share more video memory will bee welcomed.

    CPU Intel Atom N450
    Chip Set Intel NM10
    Memory 1024 Ram DDR 2 at 667mhz.

    Thank you in advance.

The graphics are dynamic meaning it grows and shrinks with what is needed. Ubuntu is frugal and so only need 32Mb while other OS's need other amounts. Anyways Ubuntu is too much for that thing, you need a lighter os like Xubuntu or Lubuntu. Trust me it will fly on those alternatives.
