Cool Software to zip into multiple files of a set size

So im only one step away from switching over to ubuntu full time as a main pc, the last hurdle is backup of my email, the directory is large 2gb so i currently in windows i use winrar to create a rar archive into multiple files set to 100gb. Is there an alternative to winrar in linux that can create multiple zip or equivalant files of a directory and if possible example command. Hope someone can help so i can switch.

zip lets you create split archives. Search for Split archives in the manual page. And there's rar for Linux, too (albeit only command-line version). Besides, you can create a big monolitic archive, then split it into multiple parts with split.

7Zip lets you do that and password protect ...... install " P7zip full " .
