Skullgirls to have a Linux port

A bit of interesting Linux gaming news:

Skullgirls was just recently confirmed to have a Linux port. The game will also be released through Steam.

As it stands, Skullgirls will be the only AAA fighting game to be released natively on a Linux distro.

You can pre-purchase the game and receive the access to the beta for $30. This also serves to help add new content into the game before it releases on PC and Linux in the summer.

If I were to go the $5 dollar route, does this get me a digital copy of the game?
I am only interested in the game, not really anything else.

I herd sweet things about this game im looking forward to it im so glad Linux is finally getting games i was phyched for Team Fortress 2 i finally dissed Windows
