So, I'm playing Fallout 2 through wine on precise, and unlike most people who are having trouble with alt-tabbing from fullscreen games (I'm "fullscreening" in a windowed virtual desktop), it alt-tabs between the game and my desktop perfectly about 95% of the time. But, one time out of every 20 or so, when I alt-tab from the game to the desktop, the mouse pointer is gone and I can't alt-tab back to the game. The keyboard works fine, but I can't get back to the game unless I log out, closing all programs (and losing my place in the game!)
