    Avermedia ultratv usb 300

Hi. I'm not sure what new to linux is but I've used it for about a year now. I am finally stumped enough to post on a forum. I have an Avermedia ultratv usb 300 and my specs are :
    Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit
    asrock g41m-s3 motherboard
    Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 2.5 ghz
    G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8 gb (2 x 4 gb) ddr3 1600 ram
    NVidea GeForce 9400 GT 512mb
    DVD-RW Drive
    3 HDD (320 gb, 500gb, !tb.) All 5400 rpm

I am trying to get my Avermedia ultratv usb 300 to work. The only drivers I've ever installed were nvidia. No drivers show in Additional Drivers for anything else. I can't tell if its working or not and all i can get mythtv to show is "Analog V4L capture card" which I don't have. Any help about this device in Ubuntu would be very much appreciated. I don't mind links and I have searched before coming here. I do know how to use terminal if that helps. Again any help would be appreciated.

With USB devices, before we can even try to do anything, we need to know the chipset. Please plug your device it, open a terminal window, and type:

    lsusb <press enter> (that's a lower case "L")

Highlight and copy the results, then post them back here in a reply.

We may or may not be able to make this work, but we need that inforation first.
