    Firefox screen resolution Ubuntu 12.04

When I am in Firefox some screens are cut off. If I go to Displays and reset my screen resolution to 1280X800 the screen in firefox are correct., but as soon as I go to another screen I have to reset the display again to 1280X800. How can I permanently change the screen resolution in Firefox?
