Question Getting error on logrotate - can't find cause

    Hello,

I'm not a linux expert. This may be very well be a "corrupt chair to keyboard interface" issue, but here goes:

I'm running 10.04 LTS server. I get daily messages with the following information:

    Code:
    /etc/cron.daily/logrotate:
runlevel:/var/run/utmp: No such file or directory
runlevel:/var/run/utmp: No such file or directory
runlevel:/var/run/utmp: No such file or directory
I can't find where this is coming from. No references to utmp anywhere. I even tried creating a dummy utmp file, with no luck.

My searches have not gleaned any usefull information, but this message seems to crop up here and there...

    Thanks for any help...
