    RAM swappiness question

Hey there, on my settup i have roughly 6GB RAM and 8GB swap partition I already set the swappiness to 10 was 60 but the system still uses the swap before the ram is anywhere near full. Usually when i'm using my video editors and 3D software. Any suggestions to keep the swap from being used unitll the ram is full?

You could set swapiness to 0.
