change clock format in gnome shell 3.6

    Hello
Could you please tell me how to change the clock format in gnome shell 3.6 top panel? The old method of modifying dateMenu.js does not work. I just want a standard clock with full day and month name.

Install the Gnome tweak Tool if not already and the available clock setting are displayed under shell .

What I want is to customize the clock format according to strftime. This can be done by editing some file, which one and how?
