Making bootable winxp install disc from hard drive copy
Hi. (I have Ubuntu 12.04 x64. I am not a total novice but certainly not a geek either.)
Problem: I have a copy of the winxp install disc on my hard drive - the original cd is knackered now but I had previously cut and pasted all the contents of the cd into a folder in my hard drive. Now I am trying to make a new copy of the cd but when I do (using brasero) it doesn't boot. I tried making a .iso file from the original files and burning that onto cd, but it still won't boot.
Can anyone explain how to make the cd bootable please?
Many thanks in advance.
