Username change petition

Hey, sorry for the trouble, but I have been using another username ( sirriffsalot ) on irc and anywhere else related to linux and suchlike, could I ask that my username be changed to "sirriffsalot"? My current username is also my real name and initials, which was silly of me enter as a username at the time.. Didn't think it through.

P.S. How come this is a thing that has to be administered by admins of the site?
