    How to update my BIOS?

    Hello everyone.

I need to upgrade my BIOS to a new version, problem is: On Windows there's a .exe where I used to download and then execute. On Linux there's no executable, so I decided to run a flash-bios.

The download is a .zip file which contains a file inside it.

What should I burn onto the DVD? The .zip, or the file inside it? I'll flash my bios over a "bootable" DVD containing the archive but I never did it so I need your help.

PS: I have only one DVD left tonight so please confirm only if you're absolutely sure!

MOD's can close the thread, already found it

Download an updated ASRock BIOS file (WinZip format with .zip file extension) from the web site, unzip the BIOS file and save all files to the drive you created in step 1.
Sorry for creating this useless thread =)
