    How to run Simulator

    Hi I am arpit and I wanted to run a simulator "DPRsim" in a freshly installed Ubuntu.
    Being a newbie ,I am not able to run this simulator.
    Please help me out.

    The site you linked to gives installation and run instructions. What goes wrong exactly?

    Also, the link you have provided states the simulation software is verfied to run on Breezy & Dapper - - much older versions of ubuntu than the current versions.

    So, because the software may be looking for older filenames, the install is failing.

    You may want to setup a separate partition and install the older versions of Ubuntu there and reinstall to that "sandbox-test" environment. And you must verify if you have the proper build-tools. Your best source for good info might be to go back to the website of the software (or contact them via phone if available).

    When i run the installation files, its not able to compile it.
    I can extract easily .
    I installed build-essential package

    In read me it is saying about Dynamic library path which i am not able to do
