    Question infamous dual boot issue

I've done a few dual boots in my day and now im presented with an issue i cant solve on my own.

What im running: Backtrack 5r3 (dedicated HDD)
    Windows 7 (dedicated HDD)

the main issue i was having was GRUB like always but i solved that and got it to display my Op systems, i can boot into BT5 just fine except i have two launchers for 7, one is for Windows 7 and there is one for Vista so i tried em both. the vista launcher would just restart the comp. Win7 would just display the blinking hash and just sit there.

so i threw in my win7 disc and started up the CMD prompt to fix the mbr. (almost feels like a routine by now) and now im at a point to where i no longer see GRUB and even if i boot from either of my hard drives and i get nothing, ive even gotten the "insert bootable media and press enter" error. im plum out of ideas.

    any suggestions?

Can you boot any linux distributions, such as live linux from CD/DVD/USB?
If you can, how about using boot repair?

Yea I tried it after I used fixmbr. Nothing changed if not made it worse. I bit the bullet and just wiped all my drives. oh well start from scratch now.

Starting from scratch; Mate....I feel for ya-

It's up to you but you may want to install Win's 7 first; 'shrink that partition first' and than install you Backtrack distribution.

You'll have a lot less headaches IMO-

    Good luck
