My girlfriends hard drive recently died and I'm attempting to fix it for her. I ordered a new hard drive and am installing Windows XP on it for her (it's an older laptop and she needs specific windows-only programs for her lab).
What I'm trying to do is install WindowsXP on her machine from a flash drive. The reason being my laptop does not have a disc drive at all. I have a WindowsXP iso and I'm trying to figure out how to mount that iso onto the flash drive in a way that I can install WinXP on her laptop right from the flash drive.
I'm using Ubuntu 12.10 on my machine. I've tried Unetbootin, but it doesn't seem to work.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
