Please help with Unebootin and Virtual Box

Currently running Zorin OS 6 on my Acer Aspire and would like to try out Ubuntu 12.10. I am very new to this Linux environment. Zorin seemed like the right idea at the time.

I have downloaded the 12.10 image, as well as Unebootin to create a bootable flash usb. The problem I'm running into is when I open Unebootin and select "disk image" the program can't seem to find anything on my computer. My options are "computer" and "root". I've tried placing the image on my desktop to no avail.


PS: Your thoughts on Zorin OS?

Welcome to the Forums.

Zorin OS 6 is based on Ubuntu so you should be able to use Startup Disk Creator for making a Live USB.

Startup Disk Creator should be included in the Zorin package.

If you click on Computer do you see Home or Desktop? your iso should be there.
