    2 questions on music players

Have read some threads about music player recommendations, but am unclear on at least two points:

    1. When people talk about different players (clementine, amarok, exaile, and so forth), are they implying that all those players do the whole job ie. they read the file and output the music to some interface, as well as catering for the user look and feel?

    2. Which Ubuntu supported players are in actual development and have proper after-installation support?

    Thanks for the clarifications.

Re: 2 questions on music players

A simple google search on "linux music player comparison" will turn up more hits than the number of linux music players available.

There is no perfect music player.

Find one that you can tolerate.

    Open a terminal:

    Code:
    sudo apt-get install moc
    mocp

Thanks, everybody. This is enough for a start. Guess Banshee is the safer option, so I shall go from there.

    Thanks again.
