ATI Radeon HD 5450 Displayport to HDMI

Does anybody have any experience with Radeon Displayport to HDMI? I currently have a dual-monitor setup (1 VGA, 1 DVI-to-HDMI). I'd like to replace the VGA monitor with another HDMI monitor (Displayport-to-HDMI). Is this plausible? Has anybody had any luck with this configuration?

You should check that the HD 5450 allows you to connect both HDMI and Displayport at the same time.

I have an older HD 4290 which has VGA, HDMI, and DVI -- and it does not allow BOTH the HDMI and DVI ports to be connected, instead, one of them has to be VGA.
