Cool same mouse sensitivity on ubuntu as on windows 7

Hi, I'm a new ubuntu user who just migrated from windows 7, although I still use windows 7 for gaming (starcraft 2). I've got this problem with the mouse sensitivity and acceleration, the problem is that having different sensitivity mess up my feel for the distance traveled by the mouse. Does anybody know of a program or script that lets you get an exact replication of your windows 7 mouse settings + turns of acceleration? (have tried to turn of the acceleration with a script from a thread but being the noob I am on ubuntu I didn't get it to work) p.s I use ubuntu 12.10 with unity.
    Thanks in advance /Mattias

I have a Microsoft wired mouse that has a USB plug and a PS2 adapter. MS does not have Linux drivers. My mouse was terrible if plugged into USB but ok if PS2.

If you don't have a MS mouse, look for a Linux driver online.
