    Use wlan for thunderbird (imap)

    Hi

I am using my computer at work, where IMAP traffic is blocked (I do not remember the port, but you do probably).

However, there is a WiFi available allowing this connection, but this has the drawback that I cannot access printers etc.

Therefore I would like to use the wlan connection for thunderbird, and maybe only the IMAP connections, and lan for everything else.

Can someone instruct me how to do this?

The solution should probably have a switch on/off "button", when I use other networks.

    /Peter

You will need to talk to the people who are responsible for the network(s) you wish to use and get the appropriate permission first.
