    System font displays incorrectly after starting Eclipse

    After I launch Eclipse Juno on freshly installed Ubuntu 13.04, the screen blinks for a second and display fonts go funny. I guess that's not an Eclipse-specific issue, because other programs render incorrectly too, but that's definitely Eclipse that triggers it.

    I've attached a screenshot of the file browser illustrating the problem.

    What could be the cause?

    Seen that often. Most always a video driver problem. Could you :

    lspci

    in your terminal and paste it here?
