    User Permisions: giving wordpress users access to /var/www/

    Hello,

    How do I safely give wordpress permission to read/write/execute on /var/www/? Should I change the www folder permissions to 755 ?

    ... change to 775 as 755 is what www is set to as default yeah?

    What is the best way to setup Wordpress on LAMP? Do I need to install Ubuntu Server?
