intel integrated graphics issue on 12.04

I just updated ubuntu to 12.04 but can't get the graphics card to be detected or optimised. it worked fine with 10.04.

The card is: Intel integrated graphics --

    lspci |grep -i vga
VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 4 Series Chipset Integrated
    Graphics Controller (rev 03)

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks,
    Sina

What exactly is the problem? Do you have a black screen at boot, distorted graphics on the desktop, wrong resolution, etc.?

If the graphics card was NOT detected, you would have a black screen with nothing ... which I suspect you do NOT as you would have mentioned that.
