    Video card priority driver causes my gui to crash

    I have this problem on my desktop that when i install the priority driver it crashes the GUI when i reboot my pc.
    PC Specs:
    AMD Phenom II x6 1045t
    Nvidia Gtx 560 Ti
    Nvidia Gt 7800
    4 gb of ram
    Asus Mother board
    And three screens

    sudo apt-get install synaptic
    sudo synaptic

    here, select the installed driver to purge it (right click)

    then select nvidia-current for installation

    Thanks but i can not run synaptic in a text only state is there any other way to do this uninstall???
