    plugins for emacs

    Hi.
    Version of my emacs is 23.3.1. Now, I want to add plugins for emacs. But, I can't find ".emacs" file. Help me.
    ah, what I should use mode (plugins) for code C (C++) ? (it can auto fill "}, )", and auto justification).
    and how to create shortcut keyboard for modes in emacs ?
    i am new member use ubuntu.
    p/s: my english is not very good (in fact: very bad)

    Did you install using synaptic? If so, there are listings of all kinds of add-ons for emacs. If you installed another way, I would suggest that if you do not have synaptic package manager installed, do so. It will make it much easier to use Ubuntu.

    If you are using Ubuntu 12.04, just go to your dash home and enter emacs.
