Internet speed monitor applet for Unity

    Hi all,
I'm new to Linux and Ubuntu.
I have Ubuntu version 12.10, 64bit and Unity. Can anyone suggest a small applet to monitor Internet speed realtime in Unity? I would like a small applet to be located at the top of the page with the other applets where sound, Internet connection, time, calendar, etc.
I've downloaded and installed netspeed but I can't find a way to bring it up and configure it. If netspeed is the applet to use, how do I bring it up. Thanks.

    Welcome to ubuntu!

This link shows some great indicator applets. The one that may work for you is the indicator multiload. Once it is running right click, click preferences, then select the indicators you want. I do cpu and internet speed graphs.

    Code:
    sudo apt-get install indicator-multiload
